A Planner and A Paper To-Do List
There’s something special about a paper to-do list. While our team has adopted monday.com for tracking client projects and hours, it’s still nice to end each day by jotting down tomorrow’s to-do list in our favorite planner. That way, we can close out the workday knowing what’s ahead and start the next morning with a clear plan instead of immediately feeling overwhelmed by emails and notifications.
Etsy Striped Laptop Case
If you’re going to carry your laptop everywhere, it might as well be cute. We love this striped laptop case from Etsy for keeping your computer protected while making it a little easier to spot at the coffee shop…or among everything else in your work bag. The green stripe is our current favorite; it’s practical, but still fun enough to feel like an accessory.
Papier Desk Supplies
You’re never too old for back-to-school supplies! The Carlisle & Co. team always finds pretty goodies at Papier. There’s truly nothing like a Trudon candle. Is it a WFH luxury? Absolutely. Is it pricey? Also yes. But Trudon has been making candles since 1643 (yes, really!) and is considered the world’s oldest active candlemaker, so they know what they’re doing. Our favorite scent is Gabriel, with warm notes of birch wood, cashmere, and musk that somehow make sitting down at your desk feel a little more luxurious. If you’re going to splurge on a candle, make it this one.
