At Carlisle & Co., our out-of-office messages go up tomorrow evening, allowing our team to rest and recharge as we prepare for the coming year. Before we shift into holiday mode, though, it’s important to reflect. Given the fast-moving landscape of digital marketing, reflection is essential for purposeful growth. Let’s take a quick look back at 2025:
- We managed $185,000.00 in paid advertisements for ourselves and our clients.
- Our clients experienced engagement on social media that was six times their industry averages.
- Our follower count increased by 72 percent this year—a direct reflection of our commitment to our community.
- Since launching In the Know with Carlisle & Co. on Substack this summer, we hit “send” on over 40 newsletters, sharing marketing insights, trend breakdowns, and team favorites.
- We developed or refreshed 21 websites and managed 27 websites.
- In total, we published over 10,000 posts across our platforms and those of our clients.
A meaningful part of reflection is celebrating our wins. This year, our founder, Greer Johnson, was honored as a Women’s Executive Council Women of the Year nominee, and our team was proud to be named Best of Winter Park: Best Media & Marketing Company. We’re especially grateful to the client partnerships and community support that made these milestones possible—and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
Now, let’s dig into the specifics of how we achieved this digital marketing success over the past 12 months.
Here are our three primary areas of growth:
1. Expanded services
At the start of the year, we refined our service buckets to ensure that we were truly meeting our clients’ needs with our offerings. Specifically, we expanded our capabilities for public relations by creating two new outreach packages and for branding by developing options at various price points.
This spring, we proudly unveiled The Power Duo, two bundled mini courses to help you unlock the power of social media and SEO on your own. We also launched Our Favorite Things, a page that’s updated quarterly to highlight our team’s seasonal must-haves, and The C-Suite, a true labor of love that serves as a one-stop shop for business owners and entrepreneurs who need a little support with their digital marketing.
We also dove into affiliate marketing by becoming experts in ShopMy. We created our own page and began helping clients build out their profiles. We took a similar approach with Substack: After premiering In the Know with Carlisle & Co. in July, we began offering content planning and design support to our clients. We’d love for you to follow along as we continue to explore these two ventures!
2. Strengthened client support
A lot has evolved behind the scenes this year! We’ve thoughtfully updated our pipeline system, proposal deck, and onboarding experience to better serve our clients and to more clearly reflect our team’s commitment to clarity, care, and high-quality execution. Additionally, our reporting systems have evolved to allow for clearer data that truly drives improved results.
3. Continued learning
Our team meets every month for a virtual training session; past topics included digital advertisement strategies, Canva design techniques, and more. Each team member also takes individual courses to improve in their specific areas, ensuring that we’re always fostering our creativity and improving our output.
Our growth shows up most clearly in our social media strategy. With algorithms and trends changing constantly, it’s critical that our work stays current and responsive. Our monthly Instagram trend reports help guide this approach, allowing us to consistently uncover strong user-generated content ideas and bring them into our clients’ feeds in meaningful ways.
Now, we want to share four tips to help you achieve digital marketing success in 2026.
1. Start with a clear performance review. Consider what worked and what didn’t. Dig deep into your metrics, analyzing engagement, conversions, traffic, audience growth, and brand awareness across all digital platforms.
2. Set strategic and realistic marketing goals. Identify three to five goals that are directly tied to business outcomes. For instance, if you optimize SEO, you’ll generate more website leads and potential customer conversions. If you aim for more consistent social media posting, you’ll nurture and grow your online community, which ultimately helps to elevate your brand identity.
3. Refresh or reinforce your brand presence. Your brand is often the very first impression your business makes, and it should feel unmistakably like you. Look for a clear through line that connects your visuals, messaging, and storytelling. From there, focus on consistency across every touchpoint — your website, social media, email marketing, and brand assets — so your audience experiences a cohesive, confident vision wherever they find you.
4. Build a sustainable plan for the year. Long-term momentum comes from thoughtful planning, not constant scrambling. Whether you’re mapping content on a monthly or quarterly basis, having a clear plan allows you to stay consistent while remaining flexible. Define meaningful key performance indicators so you know what digital marketing success looks like, and build in regular optimization cycles to review, refine, and improve over time. Most importantly, leave room for experimentation and creativity. After all, the strongest strategies evolve as you learn what resonates most with your audience.
Let’s look ahead, together.
You don’t have to do it all alone. If you’re feeling ready to plan ahead, dream a little bigger, or simply get unstuck, we’d love to connect. Inquiry calls are complimentary through the end of January, and there’s no pressure — just a conversation about what’s next for your brand.
From all of us at Carlisle & Co., we’re excited for fresh ideas, bold goals, and continued growth in the year ahead. Wishing you a warm holiday season and a bright, inspired start to the New Year!
